HANGBOARD
+ PEGBOARD
ONE PANEL
Six measured edge depths, eight peg positions and an elastic band point on a single wall-mounted board — the full grip and pulling progression in 64 × 28 cm of wall.
TWO TRAINING TOOLS,
ONE PANEL
A hangboard trains fingers. A pegboard trains pulling. Almost nothing carries both, side by side, on one board. The Hybrid Grip Trainer does — so a single station covers a progression that normally needs two pieces of equipment and twice the wall.
HANGBOARD SIDE
Six measured grip positions, from a 33 mm full hand down to a 16 mm crimp. Repeatable, quantifiable finger loading — the same edge every session.
PEGBOARD SIDE
Eight holes and two oak pegs. Moving hole to hole recruits lats, traps, biceps, shoulders and forearms at once, with no momentum available to cheat the movement.
ELASTIC BAND POINT
One anchor turns every movement into an assisted or resisted variant, so a first-timer and a competition climber can use the same station on the same day.
SCALABLE BY DESIGN
Two-arm work to start; single-arm holds and dynamic peg transfers at the top end. Progression is built into the hardware, not into an add-on.

FEWER MM = LESS FINGER ON THE EDGE = HARDER
Birch plywood is cross-laminated, so the panel stays flat and stiff under load and holds a milled edge cleanly instead of breaking down where fingers sit. The pegs are oak dowel — hard, tight-grained hardwood carrying full bodyweight across a short span.
ONE BOARD, EVERY
LEVEL, ANY WALL
HOME TRAINING
Designed to be mounted on a wall at home — garage, spare room, hallway. 64 × 28 cm of wall and four fixings is the whole requirement.
GYMS & FACILITIES
Fits warm-up zones, corridors and the space beside existing rigs. It uses dead wall rather than floor plate, and sessions on it are short and self-directed.
MEASURABLE PROGRESS
Defined edge depths give you something to track. Progress you can name — 24 mm today, 16 mm later — instead of a vague feeling of getting stronger.
FROM FIRST SESSION ON
Two-arm work and a heavy band to start; single-arm holds and dynamic peg transfers at the top end. Built for climbers, boulderers, calisthenics and functional-fitness athletes alike.
LACORDADA builds training equipment for climbing, functional fitness and calisthenics. Every board is made from birch plywood and oak, designed and tested by the athletes who use it, and finished to be trained on rather than looked at. The Hybrid Grip Trainer is our answer to a simple question: what if the two hardest upper-body tools in the gym shared one panel?
